Meet the Maker
Jeff Ursillo is a longtime paper artist. His love of handmade crafts goes back to childhood. He has been making handcrafted greeting cards for a number of years, and particularly enjoys making ones that require precise paper manipulation. Three dimensional papercrafting projects is also a favorites of his. In addition to his skills as a paper artist, Jeff is also a model maker, his latest endeavours centered around building intricate table top marble runs.
Jennifer Isham has been a crafter and papercrafter since childhood. She loves making handmade greeting cards, paper collage, and Artists Trading Cards (ATCs). She is currently in love with making small, handheld weavings. More often than not, her 20+ penpals can expect to receive a handwritten letter, small paper collage, self written poetry zine or other mini surprise tucked inside one of her handmade cards.
How it’s Made
Iris Folding is a unique process where a design is made using strips of folded paper, overlapping them to create a unique pattern that is governed by the artists paper choice. All the cards are unique do to the nature of the papers chosen.
This card is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches. It comes with a blank white envelope, and as with all Paper Owl Artists cards, is blank on the inside to allow you room to express yourself!
